The Deputy Managing Director/Deputy Editor –in-Chief of the Sun Newspaper, Femi Adesina, has stated that information denial is abuse of fundamental rights of an individual. Adesina said this on Thursday, June 12 while delivering a speech titled ‘The Right to Know’ at a forum organized by the River State Ministry of Information and Communication held at the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt. “Information is the freedom of the mind, it should not be denied to any body. If it happens the person’s right has been abused because you have kept the person in the dark” He stated.
