Media professionals have been advised to always ensure balance and objectivity in their reportage to avoid reports that can cause disunity in the Country. The Minister of Transport Senator, Sen. Idrisu Umaru, who was represented by Mrs. Yetunde Sonike, gave the advice in a retreat organized by the Maritime Reporter’s Association of Nigeria at Customs Staff College, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
