POLICE DETAIN FOUR LEADERSHIP NEWSPAPER’S JOURNALISTS

The Nigeria Police, is reported to have summoned and detained four journalists from the Leadership Newspapers. The four are the Executive Director Human Capital, Chinyere Adegbulegbe; Managing Editor, Chuks Ohuegbe; Group News Editor, Tony Amokeodo; and the Politics Reporter, Chibuzor Ukaibe. Their alleged detention was in connection with a story published by the Newspaper.
The Management of the Newspaper in a public statement demanded the release of the journalists insisting that if they have gone foul of the law, they should be taken to court.
